Chapter 17 - Helping Around WAIS Camp![]() We traveled from the residential building to our science building. Our science building is very nice and has computer spots for everyone and our equipment stored on shelves and outdoors. ![]() We got a little cold when we walked over, so we decided to warm up at the stove. That really helps if you have been outside for a while. ![]() We then helped Joel shovel the front door clear of snow. The snow wasn't very deep in front of the door, but it helps to do this every day. ![]() We also did house mouse duties one or two times a week. This meant that we carried snow for the snow melter in the galley (that's where our water came from), washed dishes, cleaned tables and swept the floor. We usually did the work with some other members of our team which was a fun change of pace. |
