This page is used for testing whether your browser has the capability to run a Dash Board applet over the Internet. There are two tests below. The first one is testing whether Java 2 Runtime Environment is properly installed and the second one is to test the version of Java Media Framework. Your browser will be able to run Dash Board applet, if your browser passes both the test. If both or one of your tests failed please follow the instruction under the Trouble Shooting section to configure the browser.

Get J2RE Plugin Test 1. Java 2 Runtime Environment (J2RE)
Note: If you see gray rectangle on your right, and are sure that you don't have J2RE installed, then get the plugin here.
Get JMF Plugin Test 2. Java Media Framework (JMF)
Note: If you see gray rectangle on your right, or you don't have JMF installed, then get the plugin here.

Trouble Shooting

Problem: I don't have a version number displayed on the Java 2 Runtime Environment test or only a gray rectangle is shown.
Solution:

Case 1: Java 2 Runtime Environment is not installed
You can check whether your machine has Java 2 Runtime Environment installed by following this page. If not, please follow the Java 2 Runtime Environment installation guide to complete the installation.

Case 2: Java plugin is not enabled
You can enable the Java plugin for your browser following this page.

Case 3: Java 2 Runtime Environment is not properly installed
In this case, please follow the Java 2 Runtime Environment installation guide to reinstall the Java 2 Runtime Environment.

Problem: The version number of Java 2 Runtime Environment is under 1.3.1.
Solution:

Please follow the Java 2 Runtime Environment installation guide to install a newer version of Java 2 Runtime Environment.

Problem: Java Media Framework does not exists.
Solution:

Case 1: Java Media Framework is not installed
You can check whether your machine has Java Media Framework installed by following this page. If not, please follow the Java Media Framework installation guide to complete the installation.

Case 2: The machine has more than one installation of Java 2 Runtime Environment
You can check whether your machine has more than one Java 2 Runtime Environment by following this page. Please follow the Java 2 Runtime Environment installation guide to reinstall the Java 2 Runtime Environment and then the Java Media Framework installation guide to install Java Media Framework.

Problem: The version number of Java Media Framework is under 2.1.1.
Solution:

Please follow the Java Media Framework installation guide to install a newer version of Java Media Framework.
